Here heres another one!

This is a Ne-Yo caricature, i dont think i totally pinned down the likeness, i find it really hard to REALLY exagerate someone and keep the likeness at the same time.....What do you think? I had allot of fun doing this tho and i really like how it looks :)

I really wanted an airbrushed caricature look, also i wanted to try out Photoshops pen tool, allot of people were telling me to try that instead of illustrator. I REALLY am lovin the pen tool.....Illustrator can f*ck off, lol, I dont have the patients for it!

Took most of the day, Photoshop CS2 and a soft brush :)

It's a good pic, with ur usual great finish, and the main features are pretty good on the likeness front, ie: mouth nose and eyes, but I dont know if the widening/shortenng effect works...his face tends a little more towards long, and is really very oval - so i think an oval with a really big mouth (maybe a lil more balanced between upper and lower lips, as his mouth looks very balanced) quite a pointy, beaky sort of nose (also quite big but the mouth should preominate) , and really small eyes might work better in terms of a likeness - but hell - I couldn't do half as well as you have. Good job mate! :clap:

Would be interesting to see it stretched tho, to elongate it.

Thanks so much for the helpfull crit! I see what you mean. Im not very good with face shapes when it comes to caricatures. Thanks tho :)

Actually I take it back about his mouth - you caught it very well. His bottom lip does protrude.

I think the shape must be the hardest thing to caricature, as you have to distort it one way or another.

And of course he is so damn beautiful, theres no way to exaggerate that! :D

I think it turned out really well. I totally recognized who it was. It's cool that you can do both realistic and caricatures.
